I’m Zi Meng, a M.S. student in Prof. Taylor’s lab. As an international student from China, I came to UC Davis in 2016, majoring in Agricultural and Environmental Education. After four years of study, I graduated and got admitted by UC Davis Horticulture and Agronomy Graduate Group M.S. program. 

My research is about poplar as a bioenergy crop. Specifically, I’ll study the relationship between climate and stomata number by measuring the stomata number of genotypes from different climates of origins
