Academic history
Yufei attained her B.S. from University of California, Davis in 2018 and continued with her studies in the Horticulture & Agronomy M.S. program at UC Davis. She obtained a M.S. degree in 2021 by completing a thesis “Developing Genomic Resources in Watercress: Plant Morphology and Phytochemical Properties”.

Research interest
Graduate student researcher interested in using genomics-assisted breeding to enrich leafy green crop nutrition profiles. Her project also includes growing watercress in an indoor vertical farming with different LED light regimes for better crops. Base: University of California, Davis
